{"id":1630,"date":"2023-09-06T17:29:59","date_gmt":"2023-09-06T17:29:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wgi.gr\/?page_id=1630"},"modified":"2026-10-08T13:30:48","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T13:30:48","slug":"international-process-coordination-personnel","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wgi.gr\/en\/training\/international-process-coordination-personnel\/","title":{"rendered":"Welding Coordination Personnel IWE, IWT, IWS, IWP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">International IIW \/ EWF diplomas, with training in Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Welding Greek Institute (WGI) is the sole national body (<a href=\"https:\/\/wgi.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Authorised National<\/strong> <strong>Body \/ ANB<\/strong><\/a>) representing Greece in the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and the European Welding Federation (EWF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Training is delivered by <strong>the Institute\u2019s independent training unit, the Training Excellence Center (TEC)<\/strong>, an approved training provider (Authorized Training Body \/ ATB). Examinations and the award of diplomas are carried out by WGI in its capacity as ANB, through a process independent of training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The International Welding Engineer diploma and the corresponding levels fully meet the competence requirements for welding coordination personnel, as defined in <strong>ISO 14731<\/strong> and required by <strong>EN ISO 3834<\/strong>, which in turn is a requirement of <strong>EN 1090<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Framework: \u201cWhy your company needs it\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background\" style=\"background-color:#5298fa;color:#5298fa\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every manufacturer of metal structures certified to EN ISO 3834 must have a <strong>responsible welding coordinator<\/strong> with documented technical knowledge in accordance with ISO 14731. IWT and IWS candidates attend all teaching hours together with IWE candidates, <strong>at no additional cost<\/strong>, and are examined on the syllabus of their own level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IWP candidates receive <strong>greater emphasis on practical training in manual processes<\/strong>, with more workshop hours and consumables;
