4. SELECTION OF LEARNING PATHWAY

The core of the programme (Chapters 1-14) is delta training. It assumes that you already hold the fundamentals of welding technology: the processes and equipment, basic metallurgy, imperfections and acceptance levels, WPS/WPQR and welder qualification. If you do not hold that background, you should take the introductory WELD ENTRY programme first. It covers exactly that base at awareness level and requires no previous knowledge of welding.

Pathway 2: evidence of the required background is not mandatory, but welding technology questions will be included in your final certification test.
